SMS Terms & Consent Policy

Last updated: May 11, 2026

Daily Labs provides AI receptionist software to local service businesses ("Business Customers"). When a Business Customer's end customer calls the business, our AI agent may book an appointment on the business's behalf and, with the end customer's verbal consent during the call, send an SMS confirmation, reminder, or follow-up to the phone number provided.

How Consent Is Obtained

Consent is obtained verbally during the phone call. Before any SMS is sent, the AI agent asks the caller a question similar to:

"Can I send you a text message about your appointment? Standard message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out."

The caller must respond affirmatively. Both the consent question and the caller's response are recorded, transcribed, and stored with a timestamp and the phone number. Records are retained for a minimum of four years.

Demo Calls Placed Directly to Daily Labs

In addition to operating as a service provider for Business Customers, Daily Labs publishes a demo phone number on its website (https://dailylabs.ai) that prospective customers may call to experience the product. This demo line is staffed by the same AI receptionist software our Business Customers use, configured as a sample auto service center ("Daily Labs Demo Auto"). Callers can book demonstration appointments. With the caller's verbal consent during the call, SMS confirmations, reminders, and reschedule notices are sent in the same way they would be for a real Business Customer. SMS sent in response to demo calls are sent by Daily Labs directly.

Message Types

Opted-in customers may receive:

  • Appointment confirmations
  • Appointment reminders (typically 24 hours before)
  • Reschedule and cancellation notices
  • Post-appointment follow-ups (e.g., care instructions, next-step information)

Frequency

Message frequency varies by appointment activity. A typical customer receives 2–5 messages per appointment.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, charged by the recipient's mobile carrier. Daily Labs and the Business Customer do not charge for SMS.

Opt-Out and Help

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact the Business Customer directly using the phone number that sent the message.

Privacy

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data collected through this flow are used solely to deliver the messages described above. This information is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our full Privacy Policy at /privacy.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
